Married for Life – a real possibility or just a great concept?  Often times, people invest more time in preparing for a career, learning a new skill, or developing a talent, yet they marry believing it will “just come naturally.”

The mission of Married for Life is to equip and build strong families, having the Lord as the foundation and final authority.  We believe that strong families can bring strength to a community, city, nation, and worldwide.

The vision was given to a couple, Mike and Marilyn Phillipps, the founders of Married for Life.  Mike was falling into the sin of adultery, though Marilyn was determined to fight for her marriage.  She sought the Lord’s counsel and was obedient to his directions.  Although it was difficult to love the unlovable and respect the unrespectable, she pressed through as an obedient servant.  As her reward, the Lord reconciled her marriage, and shortly thereafter, gave her HIS vision. He expressed it in a vision of millions of twinkling lights around the WORLD.  There was one on every block and around every corner.  God said that each one of those twinkling lights was a powerhouse Christian home where the peace and power of the Lord so radiated.  Each house was an oasis to the thirsty world around them.  God PROMISED that He would raise them up around the world.  These homes would be the product of godly couples seeking the Lord's will for their own one-flesh relationship and desiring to minister to others.  They would be liberated from strife and endowed with power to tear down strongholds, setting others free through name of Jesus Christ. 

The course teaches couples the meaning of a "one-flesh" relationship – to work in unity, enjoying the peace and harmony of being one.  They will be given the tools and knowledge necessary, and if used wholeheartedly, transformation begins!
